Chris Jones founded Sea Time in 2021 with the mission of making coastal cruising more accessible by offering private, customizable experiences in the Puget Sound, Caribbean, Bahamas, Polynesia and the Mediterranean.

With over 29 years of experience, Chris has captained a variety of sail and power-driven, multihull and monohull, vessels from 10’- 65’. Chris has chartered for private clients throughout the Pacific Northwest, San Juan Islands, Bahamas, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, British Virgin Islands, French Polynesia and US Virgin Islands. 

Chris holds a United States Coast Guard 25 Ton Master’s License, with Sailing and Towing Endorsements. Chris is also a U.S. Sailing, Basic Keelboat, Basic Cruising, Bareboat Cruising and Powerboat Cruising Instructor.
